I am currently a Software Engineering Consultant and have accumulated a year of experience within the industry. After spending countless gruelling hours on the computer, I now aspire to be a software developer. My true passion lies with software engineering as it provides this Yin-Yang like balance of logical (backend) and creative (frontend) tasks. Being an avid adventurer of the technology space I have explored many passages such as; programming ,creating 3D models ,editing videos and many more. I am multi faceted in many avenues within the space.

Programming Languages

Having used this language since the start of my game development journey, this is one of my favourite programming languages to use. .NET continously improves year by year and can be used by almost any operating system making C# a flexible programming language
Being the first programming language to introduce me to the world of programming. Python seems to be used in many different ways and avenues which have evolved over the years mainly being used for a lot of AI project with tensorflow.
One of the easiest languages to learn, however also being quite robust and having a big space for web development both frontend and backend. Javascript is one of my favourite languages and by far the most I have adapted to in a short amount of time given it has an easy learning curve.
Using and learning Java throughout university, I have developed a small text-based RPG and learnt basic programming principles with this language. Also learning framework such as Spring boot and spark throughout my years in industry. Java being around for quite a long time still has a lot of space for projects that are being built using Java.

Softwares | Frameworks

Having used unity for almost 7 years, I have became quite proficient in using unity as a tool. I have created many projects within the unity game engine that have been released on the google play store. I have mastered many sub-systems within unity and in its API, however given that it constantly involves they will always be more to learn about this software
A 3D modelling tool that I have used from the start of my game development journey. I have become a semi-professional using this tool. From creating models to animating to UV unwrapping meshes. Alongside unity I have mastered this tool to become of use within my game development journey.
Although html is not considered a programming language nor is css html and css is still a valuable skill across the board. This is the basics of simple and complex web development. Having used html/css from the very start of my journey, I have learned how to create a fully interactive and responsive website. Additionally, using frameworks such as bootstrap to fully utilise front-end development
Blender was my first jump into the 3D world. Long before my game development journey I have used this tool to create animation which I would render into a video file.
Using substance painter since its release I have mastered this tool alongside my game development journey. Seeing how much this tool has improved over the years and the quality of how it has improved my game development pipeline, this tool made it easy to create texture for my models within a 3D enviroment giving my the best quality assets for my games.
During my secondary school years I have used photoshop from quite an early age, learning how to use many of it various tools in order to edit images and more importantly towards my game development journey help me create textures for my assets throughout my asset pipeline.
Due to photoshop being an expensive software, I decided to learn affinity photo similar to its counterpart photoshop. It was for me to adapt and use the tools within this software given that it was similar to photoshop.
Learning react quite recently has taught me many new concepts about programming and showed me a component based methodology in comparison to the traditional OOP programming methodology. Learning react for almost 2 months I have learnt the old and the new way of how react is used. Given its versatility of the amount of packages that can be used I have also mastered redux otherwise now known as react-toolkit. Learning about the different types of hooks used within the react to create a front-end web application.
While I was training within FDM I have learned about Spring boot which is a java REST api used to create java web applications. This was 4 weeks learning alongside about JPA and JDBC which is used for Java to interact with a databases.
Throughout my last university year, I chose to do web development as one of my modules and was exposed to python and a framework called Django. Django being of my favorite REST api made it very simple and easy to manage the API for the GET and POST in comparison to other api django was also documented very well allowing me to pick up django quite fast.
Having to use android studio for my software engineering project I was quite nervous due to the learning curve of mobile development. However I found it interesting to step into the mobile world, I was able to successfully create an MVP of a fitness app where the user would be able to enter what they had for their diet. Additionally decide what exercises that they have done for the day as well.
Express is my favourite rest api to use to create a backend application. Given that you can use nodeJS and its arsenal of packages with NPM allowed me to focus more on the code rather than having problems with confliciting packages with other frameworks that I have used. Using express allowed me to easily create a website, deploy the website dditionally made it easier to read the code in comparison to a lot of other frameworks. Being able to use mongoDB alongside express as well as passport js made it my favourite framework.
